Who is this course for?
The PADI Divemaster course is the stepping stone into the professional diving world. If you like working with people, want to deepen your leadership skills, are over 18 and have a minimum of 40 dives, this course is for you. During this course, you will expand your diving experience by an additional 20 dives. You need to complete the EFR Primary and Secondary Care. You have the option of either completing this before your trip to the Dominican Republic or, you may do it here with our instructor. This course is valid for 24 months. You must provide and bring with you, a completed physical exam, signed by your doctor.
What will you learn?
The focus of this course is to sharpen your current skills and solidify your knowledge. You will expand your knowledge and skills to the professional level. You will learn how to lead other divers underwater and assist instructors during other courses. A huge portion of this class is based on working with people, developing excellent communication, fine tuning leadership skills, being able to assess and professionally lead different personality types in diving ( ex. from the bold risk takers to the more conservative or those with anxiety ). You will learn which courses you’ll be able to lead alone, as well as, which courses you’ll be able to assist an instructor with.
