Who is this course for?
In order to start this course, you need to have finished the OWD ( Junior OWD) and be at least 12 years old. It is preferable (although not a requirement) that you have some diving experience after obtaining your OWD. This course expands your knowledge and experience in diving. Deep diving and underwater navigation are mandatory courses, plus you get to pick three additional specializations that are the most interesting and appealing to you.
What will we teach you?
-During the Deep diving portion, we will teach you how to plan your deep dive and execute the deep dive successfully. This exceptional ability, will allow you to deal with situations that happen during deep water dives, whether physical, physiological or equipment based.
-For the Under water navigation course, we will solidify the knowledge of how to use a compass and teach you how to navigate under water. Using distinctive orientation points, the cycles of flicking your fins and measuring time, you will successfully complete the course and 1 navigational dive.
-The additional three dives, are specializations of your choice, which you can choose from several options depending on your interests.
-In total, you will complete 5 dives, the required deep dive and navigational dive, as well as the 3 specialization dives of your choice.
**The theoretical portion can be done online or with our instructor and a textbook.
